Our core values at Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR) is to begin with humility and treat the people we serve with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances. We must act with compassion and patience and have an ability to care and empathize without judgment. We must operate with integrity, knowing that the people we serve need us to be consistent and true to our word, and we must serve, striving for excellence in everything we do.

An agency that serves 6,000 children and families annually, the nutrients in the root of our tree is in the commitment and dedication of our staff. CSR staff is a diverse group of individuals, many of whom have endured similar trauma with which the families we serve face.

Our work culture within our five main departments, Behavioral Health, Early Education & Childcare, Foster Care & Family Services, Housing & Stabilization and Youth Development, provides a sense of community and extended family, which is exemplified in our 91.11% retention rate.
