One of the many stresses that destabilize economically disadvantaged adults and families is the lack of adequate, affordable housing. The staff of CSR’s Adult & Homeless Services division has developed superior expertise in addressing the needs of individuals and families who are homeless.
In an effort to reduce homelessness and decrease the length of stay in shelters for individuals and families, CSR provides intensive housing placement, case management to rapidly re-house individuals and families for long-term stabilization, while nurturing their human capacity to overcome adversity.
Our safe, secure and nurturing environments enable them to regain their self-esteem, develop life skills and financial independence, while remaining healthy and connected to their communities. Many of our guests have mental health, behavioral or substance abuse issues.
CSR’s case management team works seven days a week conducting assessments, developing service plans, providing support regarding substance abuse, mental health and HIV/AIDS, and assisting guests in obtaining employment and permanent housing.
