With offices in Roxbury, Northampton, Tewksbury, and Worcester, Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR) is one of the largest minority-operated human services providers in Massachusetts. Approximately 400 dedicated and compassionate staff members work together to develop and offer high-quality programs and services that help bring peace of mind to more than 6,000 vulnerable children and families throughout Massachusetts.
Our mission is to bring peace of mind to
children and families across Massachusetts.
When a family is at peace, children are healthier and communities are stronger.
At Children’s Services of Roxbury, nothing is more important than delivering our trusted and culturally-relevant innovative programs and services to underserved children and families across Massachusetts. Our programs, developed for and by people of color, are focused on five critical areas: Behavioral Health, Early Education & Care, Foster Care & Family Services, Housing & Stabilization Services and Youth Development.
We envision that regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, all children and families across Massachusetts experience equity and equal access to all opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential and enjoy peace of mind.
The seven values of Children’s Services of Roxbury reflect our mission and approach to serving others and achieving desired outcomes.
We recognize that every individual, every family, and every community has enormous strengths, yet too often they are defined by their presenting problem.
We understand that in order to build trust and identify those strengths, we must begin with humility and treat the people we serve with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances.
We must act with compassion and patience, having an ability to care and empathize without judgment.
We must operate with integrity, knowing that the people we serve need us to be consistent and true to our word.
We must serve, striving for excellence in everything we do.
